Fast, secure, fully managed hosting for Next.js apps and custom websites. CDN, SSL, backups, monitoring and patching are all included, and when something breaks, a real engineer fixes it.
- Migration handled for you
- No planned downtime
- Your code, your domain
Hosting is cheap. Keeping a site fast, secure and online is not.
Usage-billed platforms are easy on day one and unpredictable at scale. Shared hosting cannot run a modern Next.js app properly. A bare cloud server is cheap until nobody patches it, the backups quietly stop, and the certificate expires on a Saturday.
DEV.co Hosting sits in the middle: a predictable monthly price, infrastructure built for modern frameworks, and a team of engineers responsible for keeping it healthy. You get the convenience of a platform with the judgment of a development partner.
All the frills, with no add-on surprises.
Every plan comes with the infrastructure, security and people that serious websites need. No separate charges for SSL, backups or monitoring.
Git-based deploys
Push to your branch and it builds and ships. No FTP, no SSH sessions, no deploy-day rituals.
Preview environments
Every pull request gets its own URL so stakeholders can review changes before they go live.
Global CDN
Static assets and cacheable pages are served from edge locations close to your visitors.
Free SSL, auto-renewed
HTTPS on every domain and subdomain, renewed automatically. Expired certificates are no longer your problem.
WAF + DDoS protection
An edge firewall filters bad bots, scrapers and attack traffic before it reaches your server.
Daily backups
Your files and databases are backed up nightly to separate storage. If you need a restore, we run it.
24/7 uptime monitoring
Checks run every minute. If your site goes down, an engineer is alerted before your customers notice.
OS + runtime patching
Security updates for the server, Node.js and system packages are applied for you, on a schedule.
One-click rollback
Every deploy is kept. If a release misbehaves, the previous version is back in seconds.
Managed databases
Postgres, MySQL and Redis provisioned next to your app, with backups and access controls included.
Image optimization
next/image and responsive images run on the server, so your pages ship lean assets on every device.
Engineers on support
Support comes from the developers who build sites like yours, not a ticket queue reading from a script.
From the visitor’s browser to your database.
Every request passes through a protected edge before it reaches your app, and everything behind it is monitored and backed up.

We run Next.js the way it was designed to run, on a real Node.js server with a CDN in front, so you get SSR, ISR and middleware without paying per function call or per gigabyte of bandwidth.
We have deployed and maintained a lot of Next.js in production, so we know where it trips people up: cache headers that pin stale HTML at the edge, revalidation that silently does nothing, image optimization that eats memory. We configure around those before they cost you rankings or revenue.
Not on Next.js? We host that too.
Custom websites rarely fit a one-size platform. We host the stack you already have, configured by people who understand it.
Next.js
The full Next.js server, so every feature works the way the docs describe it.
React and Vite SPAs
Single-page apps with correct routing fallbacks and long-lived asset caching.
Astro and static sites
Pre-rendered pages served straight from the edge, which is about as fast as the web gets.
Node.js APIs
Express, Fastify and NestJS services running next to your front end on a private network.
Headless CMS
Payload, Strapi and Directus with their databases and media storage managed alongside them.
Anything in a container
Python, Go, PHP or Ruby. If it runs in Docker, we can host it, monitor it and keep it patched.
We find out first, and usually fix it before you do.
Uptime checks, response-time tracking, error logs and disk and memory alerts run around the clock. When something drifts, an engineer is paged, not just an inbox.
- Minute-by-minute uptime checks from outside your network
- Alerts on errors, slow responses, full disks and expiring certificates
- Logs kept so incidents can be traced to a cause, not guessed at
- A plain-English summary when anything does go wrong
Illustrative example of the status view every hosted site gets.
Security in layers, maintained for you.
Most breaches on small and mid-sized sites come from things nobody was watching: an old package, an open port, a leaked key. We watch them.
Built for sites that matter to the business.
Marketing sites
Fast, secure company sites and landing pages where uptime and Core Web Vitals directly affect leads.
SaaS and web apps
Production apps with databases, background jobs and preview environments for every feature branch.
Agencies
Host your client sites under one roof, with engineering backup for the problems your team does not want to own.
Simple plans that start at $50 a month.
Start small and grow without changing hosts. Larger plans are quoted to your traffic and architecture, so you only pay for what your site needs.

Moving is our job, not yours.
We move your site, data and DNS with a staged cutover, so there is no maintenance window and no lost form submissions.
- 01
Audit
We review your current host, build, DNS, databases and integrations, and write down anything that needs to change.
- 02
Staging copy
Your site runs on our infrastructure at a private URL, so you can click through it before anything moves.
- 03
Cutover
We lower DNS TTLs in advance, sync data one last time and switch traffic. Visitors never see a maintenance page.
- 04
Ongoing care
Monitoring, backups and patching start on day one. The old host stays untouched until you are confident.
Tell us about your site. We will send a plan and a price.
An engineer reviews your stack and traffic and replies within one business day with a recommended plan, a firm monthly price and a migration date.
- Plans from $50/mo
- Migration handled by our team
- No planned downtime
- Real engineers, not a call center

Hosting questions, answered.
What is included in the $50/mo plan?
One production site with a staging environment, Git-based deploys with preview URLs, global CDN, free auto-renewing SSL, an edge firewall, daily backups, 24/7 uptime monitoring, server and runtime patching, and email support from our engineers. We confirm the exact plan after a quick look at your site.
Can you host a site DEV.co did not build?
Yes. We run a short audit first to check the build, dependencies and anything host-specific, then quote a plan. If something needs fixing before it can move, we tell you up front.
Do all Next.js features work?
Yes. We run the full Next.js server rather than a stripped-down adapter, so the App Router, SSR, streaming, ISR, on-demand revalidation, middleware, Server Actions, Route Handlers and next/image all behave as documented. We also tune cache headers so ISR pages refresh at the edge instead of serving stale HTML.
We use platform-specific features from our current host. Can we still move?
Usually. Proprietary pieces such as a host's own key-value store, edge config or analytics get replaced with portable equivalents during migration. The audit lists each one and what it becomes before we start.
Will there be downtime during migration?
No planned downtime. Your site runs on our infrastructure at a private URL first, DNS TTLs are lowered ahead of time, and the cutover is a DNS switch. Your old host stays in place until you are happy.
Where are the servers?
We host in data centers in the United States and Europe and place your site near most of your audience. Cacheable content is also served from a global CDN, so visitors elsewhere still get fast responses.
How do backups and restores work?
Files and databases are backed up nightly to separate storage. If you need a restore, whether that is a whole site or a single table, you ask and an engineer does it. You can also roll back any deploy yourself in one click.
Do I keep ownership of my code, data and domain?
Always. Your code stays in your repository, your domain stays in your registrar account, and your data can be exported whenever you want. If you ever leave, we help you move.
Can you also make changes to the site?
Yes. Hosting customers can bring in the DEV.co team for updates, new features, performance work or a redesign. The people hosting your site are the same people who can change it.
What happens if we outgrow Starter?
We move you to a larger plan with more compute, databases or dedicated infrastructure. Because we already run your stack, scaling up is a planned change, not a migration.
Give your site a home that someone actually looks after.
